Duties
- Coordinate talent acquisition efforts by managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), conducting interviews, and supporting onboarding processes such as employee orientation and training & development programs
- Administer employee benefits programs, including benefits administration, workers' compensation claims, and leave management such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) requests
- Support employee evaluation processes through performance management systems and facilitate regular feedback sessions to promote continuous improvement
- Maintain compliance with employment & labor law standards, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning to ensure organizational adherence to legal requirements
- Assist in organizational design initiatives, change management projects, and workforce management strategies to optimize human resources operations
- Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM for data collection, reporting, and data entry tasks
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing conflicts promptly through effective conflict management techniques and promoting open communication skills
- Support HR sourcing efforts using social media management tools and recruitment platforms like iCIMS or Taleo to attract top talent
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of human capital management principles
- Familiarity with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation processes, and affirmative action planning
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Workday, UltiPro, Paychex, or ADP; experience with ATS systems like iCIMS or Taleo is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data collection, data entry, and contract management
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience with benefits administration software such as Paylocity or Ceridian is a plus
