The Position
We are seeking an experienced and transformative Senior Vice President of Enterprise ERP & Business Systems to own the design, stabilization, modernization, and future-state architecture of our ERP (Microsoft D365) and all enterprise applications across Finance, Procurement and Finance Operations (Coupa, Concur, Blackline, Onstream and data platforms). Reporting to the CFO, this leader will ensure operational stability while designing and implementing a multi-year roadmap that elevates ERP/FIS into a strategic, automated, AI-enabled platform supporting enterprise value creation. They will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide change management, organizational adoption and capability enablement across functions.
This is a pivotal role in owning the future state of Finance and Operations technology across the company. The SVP will own a multi-disciplinary enterprise systems organization, building a high-performing team focused on automation, predictive insights, intelligent workflows, and long-term digital transformation. They will be responsible for organizational design, leadership development, and long-term scaling of the enterprise systems function. This leader will transform ERP from a transactional system into a future-ready platform that enhances agility, investor confidence, forecasting, and competitive advantage.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Future-State Architecture
• Own and evolve the long-term ERP/D365 and financial systems strategy, defining a multi-year transformation roadmap aligned with enterprise growth and future-state Finance/Operations.
• Architect a future-ready, modular, scalable ERP ecosystem that supports advanced analytics, automation, and AI-driven capabilities.
• Partner with Data Leader and Data Architects to establish governance, data lineage, metadata standards, Master Data Management, operating models, and architectural standards to ensure long-term sustainability, data quality, and automation readiness.
• Own & lead the design, build, governance and maintenance of middleware interfaces to ensure secure, accurate and scalable enterprise data flow.
• Ownership of transformative steering committees and executive alignment.
• Translate ERP/FIS into a strategic platform unlocking predictive insights, scenario planning, real-time visibility, and proactive decision-making.
Ownership of end-to-end ERP Modernization program
- Own & lead the ERP modernization program across finance and procurement
- Conduct a full assessment of current ERP and business Applications
- Develop a target-state architecture and multi-year roadmap integrating D365, Workday, Coupa, Concur and OneStream into a unified ecosystem.
Automation, AI, and Digital Enablement
• Champion an automation-first operating model—driving adoption of intelligent workflows, RPA, low/no-code solutions, and AI-assisted processes.
• Introduce AI/ML use cases such as predictive forecasting, anomaly detection, automated reconciliation/matching, intelligent approvals, and advanced operational analytics.
• Build automated data pipelines and integrations across Coupa, Snowflake, Azure, and other platforms using API-led, event-driven, and AI-enhanced architectures.
• Implement automated testing, deployment pipelines, environment management, and monitoring to create a self-healing, self-optimizing application landscape.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Value Creation
• Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Procurement, Operations, and Technology to enable automated reporting, algorithmic forecasting, capital allocation modeling, and investor analytics.
• Ensure ERP aligns with redesigned finance processes (R2R, P2P, FA/Capex, Intercompany), embedding automation and digital controls across the lifecycle.
• Standardize and automate master data, Chart of Accounts, and enterprise reporting dimensions.
Execution, Integration & Continuous Improvement
• Own ERP reimplementation efforts with a focus on future-state architecture, automation, standardization, and long-term system resilience.
• Drive continuous improvement in system performance, release management, QA, and change management through test automation, telemetry-driven insights, and AI-supported diagnostics.
• Manage budgets strategically, aligning investments with long-term digital transformation and automation priorities.
• Build and lead a high-performing ERP/FIS team committed to innovation, automation, and continuous advancement.
•Ownership of the enterprise vendor ecosystem, including system integration partners, SaaS platforms, middleware providers and major technology contracts.
Requirements
• 15-20+ years of ERP/financial systems leadership with a focus on stabilization, modernization, automation, and long-term strategic transformation.
• Experience leading multi-system, enterprise-scale transformations (D365, Workday, Coupa, OneStream, etc.)
• Proven experience building & leading large teams, multi-million-dollar programs and enterprise transformation strategy.
• Expertise in Microsoft D365, Coupa, Azure,and familiarity with Snowflake, automation technologies, and AI/ML capabilities.
• Proven ability to transition ERP/FIS from transactional execution to a future-state, automated, insight-driven, enterprise platform.
• Hands-on experience leading ERP implementations/reimplementations in multi-entity, global environments, including automation of core finance processes.
• Ownership of the enterprise vendor ecosystem, including system integration partners, SaaS platforms, middleware providers and major technology contracts.
• Strong history of driving enterprise-wide change management, organizational adoption and capability enablement across functions.
• Experience aligning ERP with redesigned processes and embedding end-to-end digital workflows (R2R, P2P, FA, Intercompany).
• Background in private equity or holding companies/multi-entity platforms strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred; ERP, cloud, or automation certifications a plus.
