Job Summary: The Senior Payroll Analyst will oversee the complete payroll process for the United States, Canada, and Mexico from a fully remote position. The role demands profound knowledge in Workday HCM, expertise in ensuring compliance with multi-country payroll regulations, and the capacity for leading both process improvements and system integrations. The selected candidate will focus on payroll accuracy and compliance, while also driving continuous innovation within these processes.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage regular and off-cycle payrolls across multiple countries using Workday HCM.
- Guarantee adherence to all regional compliance and tax regulations, including documentation like W-2 and T4.
- Uphold SOX controls and meet audit requirements confidently.
- Maintain and adjust Workday payroll setups for accuracy in earnings, deductions, and tax configurations.
- Lead troubleshooting, system enhancements with IT, and manage third-party integrations for a flawless payroll operation.
Must Have Skills:
- Advanced proficiency with Workday HCM payroll modules and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated understanding of federal, state, and provincial payroll regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel for payroll analysis and reconciliation.
Required Domain Experience:
- Prior experience in managing payroll operations for multiple countries preferred, specifically the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
- Certification as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) highly regarded.
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and audit standards is essential.
