Compensation Analyst

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced compensation professional to manage and evolve our compensation programs. This role will initially focus on execution, governance, and operational excellence across compensation cycles, Workday configuration, and market pricing activities. Over time, the individual in this role will take on increasing strategic and design focused responsibilities, contributing to the long-term development of our compensation philosophy, job architecture, and governance frameworks. This position is based in Atlanta and is offered as a temp to perm opportunity, providing a strong pathway to long term employment based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute annual compensation cycles, including Merit and Management Incentive Plan (MIP), overseeing eligibility, validations, audits, testing, and post cycle support
- Provide compensation guidance to HR Business Partners and business leaders, including recommendations related to offers, promotions, pay adjustments, re‑leveling, and risk mitigation
- Develop, maintain, and enhance compensation policies, governance practices, and decision making frameworks to ensure consistency, equity, and compliance
- Maintain and update Workday compensation dashboards, audit tools, job profile data, and compensation codes
- Ensure the accuracy and alignment of job profiles, compensation grades, and job architecture across the Workday ecosystem
- Strengthen compensation data governance by managing access controls, role based visibility, and adherence to need to know and compliance protocols
- Lead market pricing initiatives using external compensation surveys (e.g., Radford, Culpepper), including management of annual survey submissions
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners to ensure appropriate job leveling and market alignment across roles and functions
- Support job description and job profile standardization efforts, ensuring consistency in structure, clarity, and alignment with compensation frameworks
- Serve as a subject matter expert for compensation related inquiries, delivering timely, accurate, and practical guidance to HR partners and business leaders
- Manage and respond to Compensation Service Desk requests and perform ad hoc compensation analyses as needed
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation, including market pricing, job architecture, and administration of annual compensation programs
- Strong Workday compensation experience, including dashboard management, job profile maintenance, audits, and compensation data governance
- Proven ability to manage complex compensation cycles with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast paced environment
- Advanced analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with diverse stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a multi‑site manufacturing or corporate HR environment
- Familiarity with compensation governance frameworks, internal equity assessments, and risk mitigation practices
- Hands‑on experience with compensation survey providers such as Radford and Culpepper
