Job Description
CAI’s HR Onboarding Specialist role partners with the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Teams to provide a best-in-class onboarding experience to all new hires across CAI’s portfolios. This role requires a constant focus on collaboration, attention to detail, and clear, concise communication. As the front door to the company, we rely upon the Onboarding team to present a top notch first impression to all new hires. This position will be full-time and remote.

What You’ll Do
Facilitate and execute onboarding process for new hires
Provides excellent customer service throughout the onboarding process as well as after the employee starts by assisting with HCM related questions and directing new employees to appropriate resources
Initiate and monitor pre-employee drug and background screenings
Ensure accurate and compliant I-9 completion and documentation
Address and fulfill client specific requirements with precision and care
Act as subject matter expert on all new hire processes, requirements, and workflows
Utilize HRIS system (Workday) for efficient onboarding processes and secure documentation
Ensure data input accuracy across systems and provide clear, comprehensive information to new hires
Actively partner and collaborate with business leaders to address open issues and develop effective solutions
Maintain discretion and confidentiality when managing sensitive personal details of new hires
Actively identify and resolve open issues, assessing current processes for improvement and driving innovative solutions
Participate in and contribute to process improvement initiatives, emphasizing collaboration and shared goals with the business
Support other HCM teams in the completion of special projects and strategic initiatives, contributing to organizational success
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field of study or equivalent experience is preferred
Professional and/or Internship experience within an HR or Recruiting role preferred
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail, work prioritization skill, and accuracy with data entry
Ability to think critically, solve problems, make decisions and build trust across the organization
Strong experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and in verbal conversations
Preferred:
Experience in a Human Resources role or onboarding employees
Experience with Workday HCM
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$43,000 - $53,000 per year
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
