Payroll Coordinator
Location: Piscataway, NJ 08854/ Must be able to go onsite once every two weeks
Type: Contract 4 months - Full time
A rapidly growing national building solutions provider specializing in fire, life safety, and security systems is looking for aPayroll Coordinator to support payroll operations. This role is ideal for someone with hands on payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid foundation in payroll systems who is comfortable learning new platforms. This is a remote full time position with a $1000 retention paid out at the end of the 4 months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Must have experience with prevailing wage and certified payroll reports, preferably with experience with New Jersey hub downloads
• Support day to day payroll processing with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Utilize Excel for payroll reporting, audits, and reconciliation (intermediate level)
• Partner with internal teams to ensure payroll data integrity and compliance
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Payroll Coordinator or similar payroll experience
• Experience with Certified Payroll (federal, state, or local public construction experience), Prevailing Wage, and Form WH-347
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with Excel (intermediate)
• Payroll system experience (Workday Payroll preferred)
• Experience with Foundations payroll software or similar (preferred)
• Comfortable learning new systems
• Exposure to SAP or ERP environments
