Job Description: Lead Platform Engineer, Workday (HCM)
Locations: Richmond, VA / Dallas, TX
Role Summary
As a senior Workday resource, you will drive the design, configuration, and implementation of Workday solutions, focusing on enhancing user experience, streamlining processes, and ensuring compliance with financial institution standards.
Key Responsibilities
Technical/Functional Leadership: Architect and configure complex Workday HCM, Payroll, or Talent/Recruitment solutions.
Integration Support: Develop, test, and maintain robust Workday integrations utilizing APIs (REST/SOAP).
System Optimization: Design, configure, test, and deploy functional solutions within Workday.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with HR business partners to gather requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Platform Development: Build, maintain, and enhance solutions on Workday Extend.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years of experience working with Workday Human Resources modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting).
Technical Skills: 5+ years of experience working with APIs (REST or SOAP) within the Workday environment.
Certification: Active Workday Pro Certification (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Workday Extend.
Background in financial services or large-scale enterprise environments.
Module Focus: Core HCM, Talent & Recruitment, Payroll.
Environment: Strong emphasis on security, compliance, and API integration
