The HR Shared Services team is a group of superstars that are at the core of all HR activities at Ticketmaster. It is the team that is driving the standardization and globalization of all processes, the enablement of the HR team and Ticketmaster employees and the execution of all HR operational imperatives.
THE JOB
The Analyst, People Analytics & Workday Reporting Analyst is a key contributor within Ticketmaster’s global HR Shared Services team. Reporting to the Manager, People Analytics, you will support the delivery of high‑quality people insights through accurate reporting, data analysis, and effective use of Workday and related HR tools.
You will play an essential role in transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights that help HR and business leaders make informed decisions about talent acquisition, retention, engagement, performance, and workforce planning. This role blends hands‑on analytics work, strong workday reporting expertise, and a solid understanding of HR processes.
In this role, you will support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data models that drive consistency and enable self‑service across the organization. You will also partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, ensure data quality, and contribute to continuous improvement of our people analytics capabilities.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support the Manager, People Analytics in implementing Ticketmaster HR’s people data strategy.
- Build, maintain, and enhance Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite) to support HR and business reporting needs.
- Extract, compile, and validate HR data from multiple systems including Workday, Culture Amp, and other people platforms.
- Produce regular people metrics reports and dashboards covering turnover, retention, recruitment, DEI, talent mobility, reward, and other workforce indicators.
- Develop and update analytics dashboards (e.g., in Workday) for HR and business leaders.
- Assist in establishing and tracking key people KPIs through automated reporting.
- Support the creation and delivery of organizational health scorecards and insights packs for senior HR and business leaders.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities, providing clear explanations and insights.
- Respond to ad‑hoc reporting and data requests across multiple HR and business areas.
- Provide Workday reporting expertise to help drive adoption of self‑service reporting.
- Ensure high standards of data accuracy through data quality checks and validation processes.
- Help automate recurring reporting processes, including blending datasets for biannual promotion cycles.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to best practices for safeguarding sensitive workforce data.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of people analytics tools, methodologies, and processes.
- Support additional projects and duties as needed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
- At least 3 years of experience as a People Analytics or business analytics professional
- Hands‑on experience building Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite required).
- Workday data sources, business objects, report joins, prompts, custom objects, and report optimization
- Security domain understanding related to reporting and data access
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with special emphasis in Excel required
- Working knowledge of Workday (or other HRIS), Culture Amp, Smartsheet, Google Docs and or all other related systems preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR analytics reporting best practices
- Knowledge of various people analytics KPIs required (ie. time to fill, turnover, etc)
- Experience with or interest in AI‑driven analytics tools is desirable
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, to resolve data issues and any other barriers to progress
- Experience analyzing data and data mining using tools such as Alteryx, R or Python preferred
- Experience in querying data through SQL preferred
