Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager to lead and drive complex projects across various departments. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects by developing comprehensive project plans that include scope, schedule, resources, and budgets.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define clear project objectives and deliverables.
- Employ project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera P6 to track progress and manage schedules effectively.
- Conduct root cause analysis and risk assessments to identify potential issues early and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Manage project scope changes through structured scope management processes while maintaining stakeholder alignment.
- Oversee vendor relationships and contract negotiations to ensure quality deliverables and cost control.
- Utilize methodologies like PMBOK, SAFe, Kanban, and Lean Six Sigma to optimize workflows and promote continuous process improvement.
- Facilitate meetings with diverse teams to ensure effective communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor project performance using earned value management techniques to ensure timely delivery aligned with organizational goals.
- Support program development initiatives by coordinating multiple projects within a cohesive portfolio for maximum strategic impact.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments with strong leadership capabilities in project management or program development roles.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, Lean, Six Sigma, and PMBOK standards.
- Proficiency with project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Trello, Confluence, Workday or Primavera P6 is essential.
- Demonstrated skills in requirements analysis, process mapping, business process modeling, and requirements management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct data collection and analysis for informed decision-making.
- Excellent organizational skills with a talent for balancing multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex information clearly across various audiences.
- Experience managing IT infrastructure projects or product lifecycle management is a plus.
- Knowledge of vendor management practices along with negotiation skills to secure favorable agreements.
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), or equivalent is highly desirable. Pay: $66,093.16 - $87,553.05 per year
