About the Role
Rollo Consulting is seeking a Senior Workday HCM Consultant to join our delivery team on a part-time contract basis. You will serve as a subject matter expert across client Workday HCM environments, owning the resolution of complex support issues, leading configuration design for change requests, and mentoring junior team members. This role is well-suited for an experienced Workday professional who values flexibility and wants to contribute meaningfully to client outcomes while working on a part-time schedule.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex Workday HCM configuration, business process, and security issues across client tenants
- Lead the design and execution of configuration changes for core HCM, compensation, benefits, absence, and talent modules
- Develop advanced reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to address evolving client requirements
- Conduct impact analysis and provide solution recommendations for Workday bi-annual releases
- Own client-facing communications for support engagements, including status updates, solution walkthroughs, and root cause documentation
- Mentor and review the work of junior consultants, providing guidance on Workday best practices and configuration standards
- Identify opportunities to improve client processes and proactively recommend enhancements
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience across multiple modules (core HR, compensation, benefits, talent, or absence)
- Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex configuration and business process issues
- Strong command of Workday reporting, calculated fields, and security architecture
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering solution recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable working autonomously in a remote, distributed team with limited supervision
- Minimum 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern or Pacific business hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday HCM certification or multiple Workday Pro accreditations
- Experience with Workday integrations (EIBs, Studio, Core Connectors, or PECI/PICOF)
- Background in consulting, professional services, or managed services delivery
- Familiarity with Workday Extend or Prism Analytics
- Experience mentoring or leading small delivery teams
