Job Title: Workday HCM Analyst
Pay: $70 - $85 per hour
Location: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote) in Raleigh, North Carolina (North Hills)
Summary
We are seeking a skilled Workday HCM Functional Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting Workday platform implementations and enhancements. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, configure, and optimize HR and talent management modules within Workday. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, extensive HRIS experience, and a solid understanding of Workday functionalities, particularly in HCM, Talent Management, Recruiting, and Performance modules. The position offers a 6-month contract with the possibility of extending, and the opportunity to contribute to strategic HR technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 6-9+ years of experience configuring HR cloud platforms, with 2-3+ years specifically in Workday functional configurations
- Advanced knowledge of Workday Talent and Performance modules
- Experience supporting Workday HCM, Talent Management, Recruiting, and related modules
- Strong understanding of HR operations and employee data management
- Familiarity with JIRA platform and agile/scrum methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of project management practices
- Experience with system testing, validation, and process optimization on Workday platform
- Certifications in Workday Core HCM or Recruiting are highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Support and configure Workday HCM modules, including Talent Management, Recruiting, Core Compensation, and Core HCM
- Serve as the HRIS partner supporting HCM areas, primarily Talent Management, with expertise in Skills Cloud, Succession Planning, and Performance Management
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Maintain and update system configuration, master data values, and organizational hierarchies
- Lead functional testing, validation, and implementation of system changes
- Manage the AI roadmap related to HR applications and optimize Workday configurations for efficiency and user experience
- Administer JIRA, facilitate scrum meetings, and support Agile development processes
- Participate in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance team capabilities
- Support other projects and initiatives related to HR technology enhancements
