Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team and drive our HR initiatives forward. Duties
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting interviews, and managing onboarding processes to attract top talent.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the company culture and understand their roles clearly.
- Manage employee evaluation processes, including performance reviews and feedback sessions, to support continuous development.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring accurate benefits administration and communication.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism, employing conflict management skills to resolve concerns effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and other regulatory requirements through diligent record keeping and policy enforcement.
- Support HR projects related to organizational design, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and change management initiatives to align workforce strategies with business goals.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of human capital management principles and HR legal compliance standards.
- Strong experience in talent acquisition, recruiting strategies, ATS (Applicant Tracking System) utilization, and HR sourcing techniques.
- Proficiency in HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, or similar platforms for data collection, analysis, and reporting using Excel or other tools.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with external partners.
- Proven project management abilities to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Deep understanding of employment law in talent management practices including workers' compensation and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality while demonstrating strong organizational design skills.
- Experience with payroll processing systems like ADP or Paychex is preferred for seamless benefits administration.
