Role Summary
A Senior Business Systems Analyst with specialized expertise in sales compensation platforms, particularly SAP Commissions (formerly Callidus TrueComp), is sought for a dynamic and impactful role. The position involves overseeing the design, development, support, and continuous improvement of the sales compensation system, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of sales payout processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize end-to-end sales compensation processes, including plans, quotas, credits, calculations, and payouts.
- Lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of SAP Commissions / Callidus TrueComp or similar systems to meet business requirements.
- Integrate sales compensation data with Salesforce, Snowflake, Anaplan, Workday, and other CRM/ERP/data systems.
- Develop and execute test strategies across unit, functional, and user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles.
- Validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot data using strong SQL skills to ensure system accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, finance, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Document processes, configurations, and technical specifications clearly and accurately.
- Support audits, compliance, and SOX controls related to sales and finance data.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high attention to detail and process discipline.
- Provide training and ongoing support to end-users and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in Business Systems, Revenue Systems, or Compensation System analysis.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Commissions / Callidus TrueComp; familiarity with Xactly, Varicent, or CaptivateIQ is a plus.
- Proficiency with data integrations involving Salesforce, Snowflake, Anaplan, Workday, or similar platforms.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation, troubleshooting, and reconciliation.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Deep understanding of sales compensation processes, including plan design, payouts, and quota management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and communicate complex technical information clearly.
- Knowledge of SOX, financial controls, and audit requirements is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Publishing Pay Range: $67.00 - $72.00 Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from any approved location within the United States.
