Our client is seeking a skilled Workday professional to support the ongoing administration and enhancement of Benefits and Leave of Absence processes within Workday. Job Description:
The Workday Configurator will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Workday Benefits and Leave of Absence functionality. This individual will serve as a key resource for system configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, testing, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and experienced working with stakeholders to deliver scalable Workday solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Benefits and Absence functionality within Workday, including eligibility requirements, benefit plans, leave programs, and accrual tracking.
- Support open enrollment activities and ongoing benefits and leave administration processes.
- Develop and modify workflows, business rules, notifications, and approval paths to support business requirements.
- Partner with external vendors to support integrations and data exchanges related to benefits and leave programs.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Conduct testing activities for system enhancements, updates, and releases.
- Research and resolve system-related issues while recommending process improvements.
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system optimization.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Workday configuration experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Workday Benefits and Leave of Absence modules.
- Strong understanding of Workday business processes, reporting capabilities, and security concepts.
- Experience supporting benefits enrollment, leave administration, and vendor-connected solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
