Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Workday Testing Lead to drive end-to-end testing for a complex, multi-module Workday implementation. The role requires deep functional knowledge, hands-on testing experience, and the ability to manage aggressive timelines. You will play a critical part in correcting defects, updating P2 workbooks, and mitigating risks across all modules being deployed simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Workday functional testing across all modules (HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, etc.).
- Identify, analyze, and correct test defects in coordination with functional and technical teams.
- Maintain and update P2 workbooks to ensure risk and issue mitigation is well-documented and actionable.
- Collaborate with configuration and implementation teams to validate system functionality.
- Ensure testing activities align with fast-paced project timelines and aggressive milestones.
- Provide clear reporting and updates on test progress, defect resolution, and overall readiness.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Workday functional testing, including defect identification and resolution.
- Proven ability to manage and execute testing across multiple Workday modules simultaneously.
- In-depth understanding of Workday configuration and system workflows.
- Experience working in high-pressure environments with tight delivery schedules.
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with maintaining P2 risk workbooks.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience leading large-scale Workday implementations.
- Workday certification(s) in relevant modules is a plus.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and Workday test frameworks is an advantage.
