Our client, an established organization in the property & casualty insurance industry, is seeking a HRIS Reporting Analyst to to support reporting and data needs in Workday. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on reporting experience who enjoys working with data, building reports, and learning enterprise systems. The position offers the opportunity to grow into deeper Workday functionality over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data and build reports to support HR, Finance, and operational teams
- Create, update, and maintain Workday reports, ensuring data accuracy and usability
- Modify existing reports by adjusting fields, filters, and layouts based on business needs
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests and help translate data into meaningful insights
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reliable reporting
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to understand reporting requirements
- Assist with documentation of reports, data definitions, and reporting processes
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data visibility
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in a reporting analyst or similar role
- Experience analyzing data and writing reports based on business requirements
- General understanding of HR systems and/or financial systems
- Functional knowledge of Workday ERP/HRIS (reporting, data navigation, or general system use); deeper experience across Workday modules is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency (lookups, pivot tables, filters, formulas, data analysis)
- Exposure to Workday Web Services and/or data integrations is a plus
- Ability to work with data sets and maintain data accuracy and integrity
