We are seeking an experienced Senior ERP Advisory Lead to support a major municipal ERP modernization and replacement initiative. This is an opportunity to lead discovery, future‑state design, procurement strategy, RFP development, vendor selection, and contract negotiation for a transformative public‑sector program. You’ll be part of a high‑impact engagement helping a city replace a 20‑year‑old ERP system and modernize business processes across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct current‑state assessments across Finance, HR/Payroll, Procurement, Permitting, and related city operations
- Define future‑state processes, functional & technical requirements, and ERP modernization roadmap
- Build business cases, cost models, staffing plans, and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead the development of ERP software + implementation partner RFPs
- Facilitate vendor evaluations, demos, reference checks, and scoring
- Advise city leadership through negotiation of performance‑based contracts
- Support change‑management, communications, and stakeholder engagement
Requirements:
- 8+ years leading public‑sector ERP transformations (City/County strongly preferred)
- Hands‑on experience writing/leading ERP RFPs and selection processes
- Strong knowledge of ERP modernization best practices (Tyler, Oracle, Workday, Infor, etc.)
- Experience developing business cases, future‑state requirements, and project roadmaps
- Exceptional facilitation, executive presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Vendor‑agnostic, consultant‑style advisory background
Work Location

- Light travel for workshops, stakeholder presentations, and demos (as needed)
