Job Summary
As a seasoned HRIS Analyst with extensive experience in using technology to solve business challenges, you will be well-versed in Workday HCM, Payroll, and Financials, with a strong background in user training, programming, and technology adaptation. The role requires someone skilled in fostering collaboration across sectors and working closely with stakeholders, end-users, and developers to identify issues and implement effective solutions. A commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement is essential.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as the Workday technical resource for the implementation and ongoing management of Workday HCM, Payroll, and Financials
- Advise project teams on configuration decisions related to Workday modules and integrations
- Participate in workstream, testing, and data meetings with Workday Partners, ensuring smooth project execution
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple institutions; prepare workbooks for submission
- Identify future system issues and proactively propose solutions to mitigate risks
- Manage end-to-end Workday operations, including:
- RaaS reports design and implementation
- Configuration of domain and business process security
- Integration with external vendors
- Provide insights and expertise in Workday security, data models, and integration opportunities for developers and IT professionals
Skills And Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Workday administration, configuration, and process documentation
- Strong critical thinking and requirements gathering skills
- Proficiency in training and user support, as well as experience in change management and system integration
- Hands-on experience with Workday implementation, business processes, and troubleshooting
- Advanced knowledge of Workday security, data models, and integration strategies
- Ability to create job aids and assess existing materials to meet quality standards
- Experience in providing live instructional classes and webinars to reinforce learning post-go-live
Education And Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Workday Pro – Security certification (Preferred)
- Additional training in Workday Studio, Integration Security, and other relevant areas
Preferred Experience
- Proven experience in creating and delivering HCM training to new staff and legacy learners
- Track record of leading discovery meetings to capture processes and gather training requirements
