Our organization is a rapidly growing, recently public company undergoing major transformation and modernization. As part of this evolution, we have implemented Workday as our enterprise HCM platform and are seeking a strategic, hands-on HRIS Manager Workday to own and scale the environment.
This is a manager-level role with visibility across HR, IT, Finance, and executive leadership—ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to shape systems that directly support business growth.2
Position Summary
The HRIS Manager will serve as the primary owner of the Workday ecosystem, responsible for system strategy, optimization, governance, integrations, security, reporting, and release management. This individual will act as both a technical leader and business partner—ensuring Workday evolves with the company while maintaining stability, compliance, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Workday platform across modules and business functions
- Lead business process configuration, enhancements, and optimization efforts
- Oversee security administration, role-based access, audits, and compliance controls
- Manage integrations with third-party systems and internal applications
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics for leadership and HR partners
- Drive release management, including testing, deployment, communication, and training
- Partner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and executive stakeholders

Additional Qualifications
- 5+ years of HRIS or Workday administration experience
- Prior experience owning or leading a Workday environment in a mid-to-large enterprise
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
- Bachelor’s degree required; HRIS, IT, or business-related field preferred
- Workday certifications a plus
