Job Title: Functional Analyst (Workday Finance)
Location: On-site in Washington, DC, with the option to telework one day a week.
Duration: 4 Months with possible extension
Citizen status: US Citizenship, Green Card holder, W2
Background:
- The primary responsibility of the Technology Services’ (TS) ERP Cloud Solution Delivery team is to maintain and support highly visible cloud systems, Workday, Adaptive Planning and Coupa.
- We are seeking one Workday Functional Analyst to augment the team.
- The Contractor will provide support which includes troubleshooting Production issues, configuring Workday Finance application, performing end-to-end testing of integrations, reports and/or business processes.
- The Contractor would support the Production Workday environment, future releases, and the development of new solutions and enhancements.
Requirements:
The candidate shall also demonstrate the below knowledge and experience:
- The ability to configure, implement, test, and document solutions in Workday Finance
- Regression testing of the application and integrations for the upcoming Workday release
- Excellent work ethic, communication and organizational skills
- Possess experience with integrations in Workday (Orchestrate, Studio, EIB etc)
The Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following:
- Partnering with stakeholders to define needs, analyze business processes, and design, test, and implement system solutions.
- Configuring business processes and functional areas in Workday Finance to meet organizational requirements.
- Research and develop solutions for the integration issues between Workday and Coupa system
- Managing biannual Workday updates, analyzing feature releases, and implementing new functionalities
- Document project deliverables such as requirements specification, design and testresult
Personnel Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related degree in the IT field or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in full SDLC for all task order applications and technologies.
Capabilities
- Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
- Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
- Identifies resources required for each task.
- Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff.
Interview:
- Selected candidates will participate in a phone screening and an online interview.
- The use of video conference tools (e.g., MS Teams or WebEx) can be used in accordance with agency guidelines.
