Shift: Monday–Friday | Standard Business Hours
Pay Range: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary (7.5-Month Contract | No Extension or Conversion)
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a leading technology company to hire a People Operations Specialist to support their HR team during a leave of absence. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an early-career HR professional who enjoys onboarding, employee support, compliance, and working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
The People Operations Specialist serves as a key point of contact for employees with HR-related questions regarding onboarding, offboarding, employment documentation, and general HR processes. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and high-quality delivery of people operations services across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM regions.
This is a contract role covering a leave of absence and is not eligible for extension or conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage weekly onboarding processes including completion of employment documentation and I-9 verification (U.S., Canada, LATAM)
- Review benefits and payroll information during new hire orientation
- Support contingent worker and partner populations
- Conduct monthly HR audits and ensure compliance
- Manage E-Verify processes and assist with international transfers
- Participate in company-wide HR initiatives and projects
- Provide day-to-day associate relations support and guidance
- Maintain and update employee records in Workday
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support HR strategy and business initiatives
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with Workday highly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
- Experience working in or hiring within Costa Rica is a plus
