Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Workday Reporting Manager to join our client's People Systems team in New York City. In this role, you will be the primary architect and guardian of our human capital data, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. You will lead the design, development, and optimization of Workday HCM reporting solutions, ensuring our leadership team has the "single source of truth" required to drive global talent strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting Architecture: Lead the end-to-end delivery of Workday reports and calculated fields, from initial stakeholder intake through build, UAT, and deployment.
- Analytics Strategy: Design and maintain executive-level dashboards and discovery boards tailored to stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
- Prism Analytics: Utilize Workday Prism to ingest external data sources and build multi-source reporting that provides a holistic view of the workforce.
- Data Governance: Establish and enforce data quality standards, auditing reporting configurations to reduce "tech debt" and ensure SOX compliance.
- Process Automation: Identify opportunities to automate manual data manipulation, leveraging Workday’s AI/ML capabilities and scheduled reporting features.
- Stakeholder Training: Act as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME), facilitating training sessions to improve data literacy among HR Business Partners and functional leads.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite reports, and complex Calculated Fields).
- Technical Depth: Profound understanding of Workday’s data model, business process framework, and security groups.
- Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with Workday Prism Analytics is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical data constructs for non-technical audiences.
