We are seeking a highly experienced Workday SME / Solution Architect with strong expertise in Workday HCM and Financials. This role will be a mix of pre-sales, solutioning, and delivery, supporting business development efforts while leading end-to-end Workday implementations.
May involve pre-sales work to secure the bid.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Solutioning
·Partner with sales and business teams to support RFP/RFI responses and client proposals
·Participate in client discovery sessions to gather and analyze requirements
·Design and present end-to-end Workday solutions (HCM + Financials)
·Provide effort estimates, project scope, timelines, and pricing inputs
·Conduct solution demos and workshops to help secure new business
Architecture & Design
·Define overall Workday solution architecture across HCM and Financial modules
·Recommend best practices, configurations, and process improvements
·Design integration strategy using Workday Studio, EIB, and APIs
·Ensure scalability, performance, and compliance of solutions
Delivery & Implementation
·Lead end-to-end Workday implementations
·Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment activities
·Manage client stakeholders and cross-functional teams
·Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
Required Skills & Experience
·8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Workday
·Strong expertise in:
oWorkday HCM (Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting)
oWorkday Financials (Accounting, P2P, O2C, Expenses, Reporting)
·Experience in multiple full lifecycle Workday implementations
·Hands-on experience with:
oWorkday Studio
oEIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
oWorkday Integrations & APIs
·Proven experience in pre-sales, solutioning, and client-facing roles
·Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
·Workday HCM and/or Financials Certification
·Experience working with Workday partners or consulting firms
·Exposure to global implementations
·Industry experience (Healthcare, Finance, Retail, etc.)
