POSITION SUMMARY
The Workday HRIS Analyst will play a key role within the HR Operations team to support day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and ongoing enhancements of Workday. In this role, the analyst will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to ensure data integrity, system efficiency, and a seamless user experience. The position supports business process configuration and optimization, reporting, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives across Workday modules.
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Maintain and support Workday HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Time Tracking Modules
- Configure and troubleshoot business process frameworks, security roles, and workflows
- Manage system updates, including Workday releases, testing, and implementation of new features
- Ensure data integrity through regular audits, validation rules, and reporting
- Develop and maintain workday standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analytics
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into system solutions
- Support integrations between Workday and third-party systems (e.g., payroll, benefits vendors)
- Document system configurations, processes, and user guides
- Review and respond to support tickets submitted through FreshService relating to Workday break fixes and requested enhancements
- Provide end-user support, generate training documentation, and work with Senior HR Technology Manager, IT and Workday partners to manage
- Provide recommendations to optimize Workday functionality and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
- Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

- This position will not have management responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of HRIS experience in Workday
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio)
- Experience configuring Workday business processes and security
- Experience with Workday reporting tools (e.g., Advanced, Matrix, Composite reports)
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HR processes (e.g., recruiting, onboarding, compensation cycles)
- Experience supporting Workday implementations or enhancements
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance practices

TransMedics is committed to equitable and transparent compensation. The expected base salary range for this role is $112,400.00 – $140,200.00, which represents the company’s current good-faith estimate of compensation for this position. Actual salary will depend on factors such as, but not limited to, candidate experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific work location. This role may also be eligible for bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and wellness resources).
