Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team and support our workforce management initiatives. Duties
- Support talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), and coordinating interviews.
- Assist with employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated seamlessly into the organization.
- Maintain accurate HR data entry within HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM, ensuring data integrity for payroll, benefits, and workforce management.
- Help administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation claims.
- Contribute to employee relations by addressing inquiries, facilitating conflict management processes, and supporting performance management initiatives.
- Assist in compliance activities related to FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and labor law adherence.
- Support HR projects such as change management initiatives, succession planning, organization design efforts, and training & development programs.
Qualifications
- Proven administrative experience with a strong understanding of human resources management functions.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday, UltiPro, Paychex, or Ceridian is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and affirmative action planning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data collection, project management tasks, and record keeping.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with recruiting tools like iCIMS or Lever is a plus; familiarity with social media management for talent sourcing is advantageous.
