Senior Compensation Consultant
Our client’s dynamic HR team is seeking a 100% remote (must reside on the East Coast) contract Senior Compensation Consultant to play a vital role in shaping equitable and innovative compensation strategies within their renowned healthcare organization. Compensation: $40-50 per hour **Potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leaders and HR partners to define project goals and develop comprehensive action plans.
- Identify key deliverables, execute solutions on schedule, and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Prepare detailed presentations, meeting materials, and communication documents.
- Support the development and refinement of compensation frameworks and maintain existing programs.
- Conduct comprehensive job and market analyses to inform pay models and benchmark data.
- Facilitate training sessions and develop educational resources for HR teams regarding compensation practices.
- Contribute to process enhancement initiatives and assist in system evaluation and implementation.
- Draft accurate job descriptions and establish coherent job families and career progression models.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compensation strategies, providing ongoing recommendations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation planning and project management.
- Proven expertise in designing new pay structures, bonus, and performance-based pay programs.
- Extensive experience in the healthcare sector or academic medical center environment is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with Workday is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and confidently.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and deadlines.
