Workday Extend Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Workday Extend Consultant to join our Workday practice. You will design, develop, and deploy custom applications and extensions using Workday Extend to help our clients maximize their Workday HCM, Finance, and other modules. This fully remote role with occasional travel.
Responsibilities of Workday Extend Consultant
- Build and configure custom Workday Extend applications, including adaptive cards, custom reports, business processes, and integrations
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable Extend solutions using Studio, Workday Extend SDK, and related tools
- Develop and maintain custom objects, calculated fields, security policies, and notifications
- Integrate Workday Extend with external systems via APIs, EIBs, and Core Connectors
- Collaborate with clients, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing Extend applications for performance and usability
Required Qualifications of Workday Extend Consultant
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Extend (Studio, Adaptive Cards, Custom Applications)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON, and REST APIs
- Solid understanding of Workday HCM or Finance functional processes
- Proven experience delivering at least 2–3 full-lifecycle Workday Extend implementations
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications of Workday Extend Consultant
- Workday Extend Certification (or in progress) is highly preferred
- Workday Pro Certification in HCM, Finance, or Integration
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics or Workday AI
- Previous consulting background
