POSITION SUMMARY:
- Serve as the enterprise architect for Workday, defining the technical roadmap, governance framework, architecture standards, and scalable solution designs that support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Architect and oversee complex Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, REST APIs, and Cloud Connect, ensuring performance, reliability, scalability, and monitoring.
- Lead Workday security architecture, including role-based security, segregation of duties (SoD), access controls, security reviews, and compliance with SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
- Design and manage enterprise reporting, analytics, and data architecture utilizing Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics, Discovery Boards, Composite Reports, Calculated Fields, and data migration/validation strategies.
- Provide technical leadership for tenant management, production migrations, instance refreshes, system upgrades, and large-scale Workday implementations, serving as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Evaluate and implement new Workday capabilities, emerging technologies, and AI-driven solutions, while establishing enterprise architecture best practices, design patterns, and technical standards across the platform.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 8+ years of enterprise application experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Workday expertise and 3+ years in architecture or technical leadership roles.
- Deep experience supporting and architecting Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Payroll, Benefits, Learning, Financials, and Adaptive Planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred; Workday certifications and experience in healthcare, regulated environments, or global implementations preferred.
- Strong expertise in Workday Security, Reporting, Prism Analytics, Extend, and Learning, with a focus on enterprise-scale solution design and governance.
- Proven experience leading complex Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML/XSLT, JSON, SFTP, and middleware platforms.
- Strong background in enterprise architecture, cloud applications, IAM, data modeling, migration, reporting architecture, DevOps, release management, and Workday deployments

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $125,000.00 - $140,000.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
