We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team! Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals, utilizing social media management, HR sourcing, and research techniques.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and negotiating offers with candidates.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS, Workday, Taleo, or PeopleSoft to streamline candidate tracking and reporting.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide expert guidance on employment law compliance and contracts.
- Lead campus recruitment initiatives by establishing partnerships with universities and participating in career fairs to attract emerging talent.
- Conduct cold calling and lead generation activities to identify passive candidates for specialized roles like technical recruiting or executive recruiting.
- Coordinate employee orientation programs, employee evaluation processes, and succession planning efforts to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing talent development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment & labor law, HRIS systems like Kronos or UltiPro, and compliance standards to ensure hiring practices adhere to legal requirements.
- Foster a positive candidate experience through excellent communication skills, social media management, and relationship management techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience in talent acquisition or human resources with a focus on recruiting across multiple channels including social media platforms.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts and employment terms effectively.
- Expertise in technical recruiting for specialized roles requiring a deep understanding of industry-specific skills.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms such as Salesforce, ADP, Workday, Taleo, or iCIMS is essential.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations to ensure compliant hiring practices.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to engage candidates and collaborate with hiring teams confidently.
- Experience in HRIS systems like Kronos or UltiPro for employee data management and reporting purposes.
- Ability to conduct thorough interviewing sessions that assess candidate fit for various roles including executive positions.
- Strong research skills combined with cold calling techniques for lead generation of potential candidates.
- Demonstrated ability in employee relations, employee orientation, training & development initiatives, and internal recruiting processes. Pay: $54,281.40 - $65,371.14 per year
