WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end implementation of Services CPQ, including scoping, configuration oversight, cross‑functional coordination, testing readiness, change management, and deployment. In your role as a part-time director, you will play an essential leadership role and offer crucial guidance throughout TNTP’s Workday Services CPQ implementation. In this capacity, you will work closely with the project co-owner, stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the seamless progression of critical tasks, management of project deliverables and maintain operational readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
This role ensures the successful delivery of a Services CPQ solution that improves scoping accuracy, standardizes pricing, integrates with downstream systems, and streamlines the overall lead‑to‑delivery lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise system implementations, preferably within professional services organizations, and hands‑on experience with CPQ platforms (Salesforce CPQ, Workday Services CPQ, or similar).
This is a temporary, part-time role with an expectation of approximately 20 hours a week.
Specific responsibilities include:
Project Leadership and Delivery, Lead the full implementation lifecycle of Services CPQ from planning through go‑live and stabilization.
Develop, maintain, and manage the project plan, timeline, scope, RASCI matrix, RAID log, and status reporting.
Lead project meetings and ensure consistent, organized progress across all teams.
Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Delivery, Finance, Enterprise Applications, Data & Integrations) and external implementation partners to communicate progress, risks and address any technical or process issues that may arise.
Configuration & Setup, Assist with the establishment of the foundational elements of the Workday Services CPQ platform
Collaborate with project teams to define and implement core configuration settings of Workday Services CPQ templates and approval workflows.
Support initial data migration and system integration activities between Workday modules and CPQ.
Support the set-up of user roles and permissions to ensure proper access controls within the CPQ system.
Requirements & Documentation, Coordinate the review and documentation of evolving business requirements
Gather, review and maintain documentation of functional requirements for scoping tools, pricing models, rate cards, approval workflows, and templates in partnership with stakeholders.
Update configuration preferences and test scenarios as directed by the project team.
Ensure compliance with TNTP security standards during configuration and testing.
Translate business needs into clear, detailed specifications for configuration and integration activities.
Testing Support, Ensure that all configuration changes are appropriately tested and validated
Support configuration of test environments and participate in initial validation to confirm setup aligns with business requirements
Prepare and execute basic functional tests for CPQ workflows
Log and track issues in Jira or designated project management tools
Training & Knowledge Transfer, Prepare for a seamless transition from the current solution to the new process
WHAT YOU HAVE
Qualifications:
Experience working in or with senior leadership and leading complex organizational change efforts, including the ability to develop a clear vision and purposeful strategy to achieve ambitious goals
Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, testing, and documentation as a project manager overseeing technology solutions.
Previous experience developing and facilitating adult learning/training
Excellent project management skills and an ability to work efficiently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience managing teams to tackle complex projects or take on organizational change efforts
Preferred: Exposure to Workday HCM or Finance modules; Familiarity with Workday Services CPQ or similar CPQ platforms and understanding of quote-to-cash processes and professional services pricing.

Strategic Prioritization. This role will require juggling multiple tasks while keeping your eye on what matters most for the team and the project. You'll need to set clear goals, make sure everyone knows what’s expected, and regularly check in to see how things are moving along. If you spot any roadblocks ahead, it's best to adjust your approach before they slow you down. And when challenges pop up, bringing fresh ideas to the table will help you solve complex problems and keep the project on track toward success.
Supporting Sustainability. It will be essential to understand and prioritize organizational culture, people, and long-term goals. This involves identifying the needs of the organization and determining effective ways to support the chosen solution, while also taking into consideration the broader context, historical background, and any current events that may impact the organization’s ability to achieve lasting success.
Build relationships. You can connect and build relationships with diverse communities. Bilingual abilities are a plus. Spanish language preferred.
Influence leaders to act. You will frequently collaborate with key decision-makers and project sponsors across internal teams and partner organizations involved in the CPQ implementation. Your role will be to drive alignment, encourage adoption of new processes, and inspire both incremental improvements and significant advancements throughout the project lifecycle.
Operational & Technical Competence. Recognize the ways in which technology solutions connect to other systems and understand how these connections impact business processes.
Project Management & Execution. Develop a clear strategy with defined goals and actionable steps to achieve impact. Monitor project impact by collecting and analyzing feedback to assess progress and inform decision-making. Manage resources efficiently to ensure the successful delivery of project goals, aligning efforts and assets to maximize outcomes.

The hourly range for this position is $52.08 to $78.12 and is in alignment with experience, qualifications, and our commitment to equity in compensation.
