We are seeking a Compensation Analyst for a global software company headquartered in Atlanta. This role will support day-to-day compensation operations, with the opportunity to grow into a more strategic role over time. This position will initially be execution-focused, supporting annual compensation processes and Workday administration, while gradually taking on greater responsibility in program design, governance, and strategic planning for the right candidate.
This role supports salaried employee compensation programs and focuses primarily on base pay and merit increases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute annual compensation cycles, including merit increases and MIP administration (eligibility, validations, audits, testing, and post-cycle support)
- Provide compensation guidance to HR Business Partners and business leaders on offers, promotions, adjustments, re-leveling, and risk mitigation
- Assist in developing and maintaining compensation policies, governance practices, and decision-making frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance
- Maintain and update Workday compensation dashboards, audit tools, job profiles, and compensation codes
- Ensure accuracy and alignment of job profiles, compensation grades, and job architecture within Workday
- Support compensation data governance efforts, including access controls, role-based visibility, and compliance with “need-to-know” protocols
- Participate in market pricing initiatives using compensation survey tools such as Radford and Culpepper
- Assist with annual survey submissions and market analysis
- Partner with HRBPs on role leveling and market alignment
- Support job description and job profile standardization efforts
- Serve as a point of contact for compensation-related inquiries from HR and business leaders
- Manage Compensation Service Desk requests and ad hoc analyses
- Deliver clear, timely, and data-driven responses to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of progressive experience in compensation, including market pricing, job architecture, and annual compensation program administration
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday compensation modules, dashboards, audits, and job profile maintenance
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage complex compensation processes accurately
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into recommendations
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, onsite corporate environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a multi-site manufacturing or corporate HR environment
- Familiarity with compensation governance frameworks and risk mitigation practices
- Experience working with compensation survey providers such as Radford and Culpepper
