Workday Test Lead Job Description (Summary):
The Workday Test Lead oversees a team responsible for testing the Workday implementation, covering Financial, HCM, Payroll, Grants, Procurement, Supply Chain, Reporting, Integrations, and Data Conversion. This role involves coordinating user acceptance testing, training staff, and integrating Workday with existing internal systems, with an ongoing focus on testing new features as part of Workday’s semi-annual updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and cases.
- Coordinate testing phases across modules with development and functional teams.
- Track, debug, and resolve defects.
- Maintain quality assurance standards.
- Train team members on best practices and software testing standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in software testing; 2-5 years in team leadership.
- Experience with Workday implementation and tools like Jira is highly preferred.
