The Role:
The Senior Workday Analyst is involved in the day-to-day operations of J.D. Power’s Workday technology platform. The position functions as a Subject Matter Expert and has deep working knowledge, functional, and system set up expertise within Workday. The Workday HRIS Analyst also works with all Workday modules and any integrated applications. This position will also lead configuration development, reporting, and technical needs for any dashboards. The position is responsible for evaluating and optimizing current processes, building new capabilities and functionality, and automating HR processes. This position will plan, prioritize, and execute Workday initiatives provided by leadership, focus on configurations to improve functionality and reporting. The Workday Analyst will own the application and proactively recommend improvements to meet the objectives of the department and business.
Responsibilities:
Ongoing configuration and maintenance of selected Workday modules, including HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Recruiting, and Learning
Manage EIB processes
Provide scope, scale, and design of detailed technology solutions for specific HR business needs
Design, test, and deploy new/revised Workday business processes, EIBs and configurations
Create recurring scheduled reports and ad hoc reports in Workday
Provide scheduled support for regular HR processes (e.g., goal setting, performance assessments, and annual compensation process)
Maintain internal database files, tables, codes, backup files, integrity, and security
Collaborate with HR staff to identify the needed improvements to existing configuration and reporting
Provide technical support, learning materials and guidance to stakeholders including HR, Payroll, and the general employee population
Ensure system compliance with data integrity, security and privacy requirements
Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent skills and knowledge required
5-8 years of HRIS technical experience, preferably in the Workday ecosystem, implementing or operating Workday
Experience and working knowledge related to Workday, system design, Workday calculated fields, complex Workday configurations, business processes, and dashboard development
Strong knowledge of broad Human Resource systems and data
Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work successfully with stakeholders
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with both technical and functional users
This position has a starting salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 USD per year. This is the range we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for the role at the time of posting. An employee’s pay within the range is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, education, qualifications, experience, performance, business or organizational needs, and geographic location.
