Job Title: Workday Tester

Job Description :
We are looking for a detail-oriented Workday Tester with experience in testing HR systems and validating configurations in Workday. The candidate will be responsible for supporting functional and integration testing across Workday modules such as HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Payroll, and Benefits.
The role involves preparing test cases, executing SIT and UAT cycles, tracking defects, and ensuring quality delivery of Workday implementations and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases for Workday functional and integration testing.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
- Validate Workday configurations across modules such as:
- HCM
- Recruiting
- Talent & Performance
- Payroll / Benefits
- Review business requirements and functional specifications to create test scenarios.
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or similar.
- Work closely with Business Analysts and Functional Consultants to resolve issues.
- Validate data conversions and integration outputs.
- Support regression testing during system updates or enhancements.
- Assist in preparing test reports and quality dashboards.
- Participate in cutover and go-live validation activities.
Required Skills
- 4–8 years of experience in software testing, preferably in HR systems or Workday environments
- Hands-on experience in:
- SIT / UAT testing
- Test case preparation
- Defect tracking
- Understanding of HR business processes (Hire-to-Retire lifecycle)
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing Workday implementations or enhancements
- Exposure to Workday modules such as HCM, Recruiting, or Talent
- Experience with testing tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar
- Basic understanding of Workday integrations
