Compensation Range: $65-$85/hr
Job Description:
Design, develop, and support Workday integrations while troubleshooting and optimizing enterprise HR technology solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Debug and troubleshoot Workday integration issues across systems
- Triage issues to determine root cause (Workday vs. external systems)
- Develop and maintain integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, and Workday Extend
- Build and consume REST/SOAP APIs using JSON and XML
- Navigate Workday environments including sandbox, security, and domain configurations
- Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations
- Collaborate with internal teams on integration design and implementation
- Maintain documentation and integration best practices
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 3-5 years of hands-on Workday HCM integrations development experience
- Experience delivering full-cycle integrations to production
- Workday certification (Integrations, Extend, or Orchestrate)
- Strong experience with JSON, REST APIs, SOAP, and XML
- Hands-on experience with Workday EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio
- Understanding of Workday Business Process Framework and security
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Workday Extend and Orchestrate
- Familiarity with AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
