About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior People Coordinator to support the People team at Hinge. This role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth execution of HR processes, providing best-in-class coordination for HR Business Partners and People Operations. You will manage onboarding logistics and HR systems updates and processing of transactions while ensuring a seamless experience for employees and candidates. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:New Hire Onboarding Experience
Own the full onboarding experience from start to finish- from pre-boarding logistics and Day 1 setup to facilitating engaging onboarding sessions that leave a lasting impression.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all new hires, building genuine relationships and ensuring every employee feels welcomed, informed, and excited to be part of Hinge from day one.
Lead and present new hire onboarding sessions with energy and clarity, bringing the Hinge culture to life through thoughtful storytelling and interactive programming.
Design and continuously evolve a creative, memorable onboarding experience- think beyond the checklist and find imaginative ways to make new hires feel celebrated and set up for success.
Coordinate all onboarding logistics including scheduling, equipment, system access, welcome kits, and onboarding materials across cross-functional teams.
Gather feedback from new hires to iterate on and improve the onboarding program over time.
HR Operations & Program Coordination
Process HR transactions in Workday, such as job changes, promotions, and terminations, and ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular data audits
Provide administrative and coordination support across key HR processes such as performance reviews, compensation cycles, and engagement surveys.
Assist HR Business Partners with data entry, tracking, and reporting to support workforce planning and decision-making.
Maintain and update HR systems (Workday), ensuring the accuracy of employee data, organizational changes, and compliance records.
Assist with offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for departing employees.
Support other HR administrative and operational work as needed, including document management, HR communications, and special projects.
HR Technology & Systems Management
Help manage and maintain tools across the People team’s HR tech stack, including Workday (HRIS), Lever (ATS), Culture Amp (Engagement & Performance), and Enboarder (Onboarding).
Generate and distribute HR reports, dashboards, and data insights to support People Leadership decision-making.
Support the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and user-friendliness.
What We’re Looking For:Experience: 2-3 years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting coordination, or people operations, preferably within a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in HR tasks. Catches what others miss- from a data inaccuracy in Workday to a gap in a process- and takes corrective action without needing to be prompted.
Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, candidates, and stakeholders.
Proactive & Problem-Solver: Takes initiative to improve processes, troubleshoot challenges, and enhance the candidate and employee experience.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with HR systems (Workday, Lever, Culture Amp, etc.), Google Workspace, and collaboration tools like Slack and Notion. Comfortable leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and improve the efficiency of HR processes.
Confidential & Professional: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to changing business needs.
Understanding of HR compliance, policies, and best practices is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $110,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
