We are looking for a Youth Sports Recruiter. Somone who can get us kids to play for our basketball program/teams.
We will sponsor some kids if necessary, to where they don't have to pay to be on the team, but they need to be good athletic kids.
We are currently looking for Middle School Aged kids that can play on our boys youth basketball team.
Ideally looking for Athletic Kids. Not nececassrily tall, just dawgs.
Looking for someone who has expirence in the local communities. Maybe refereeing basketball and football games, someone that is in the School districts and communities.
I'm willing to pay $100-$200 for every kid that joins the team.
Each kid that joins the team will receive free uniform, free tournament entry fees, free training, and possibly free travel with the team.
We are located in Miami, FL in Kendall.
- Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies to attract youth athletes across various sports disciplines.
- Engage with local schools, community centers, and sports organizations to identify potential talent through outreach initiatives.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate athletic skills, character, and motivation of prospective participants.
- Manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HRIS platforms such as Workday or iCIMS to streamline recruitment processes.
- Build strong relationships with coaches, parents, and community leaders to facilitate ongoing talent management and program growth.
- Coordinate campus recruitment events, open tryouts, and informational sessions to promote participation.
- Maintain detailed records of candidate interactions, evaluations, and onboarding activities while ensuring compliance with employment & labor law standards. Requirements
- Proven experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably within sports or youth programs.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate program benefits and secure commitments from participants and their families.
- Familiarity with technical recruiting tools such as Lever, Greenhouse, or Salesforce for candidate management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences across social media platforms and community networks.
- Knowledge of HR sourcing techniques including cold calling, research methods, and relationship management strategies.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams on employee orientation, training & development initiatives.
- Understanding of employment laws related to youth employment and program participation regulations. Join us in creating impactful opportunities for young athletes!
