What This Role Is
Help people take the next step after they request information about insurance, benefits, and coverage plans. You’ll speak with interested households by phone, learn what matters to them, walk through available options, and help them select a plan that makes sense for their situation.
The day moves quickly, with scheduled conversations, follow-up calls, and applications to keep moving. You should be comfortable taking initiative, asking good questions, and keeping a conversation on track. Training and ongoing support are provided, while compensation reflects individual performance.
Day to Day
- Speak with interested households and identify what they are looking for.
- Compare available plans and explain the differences in straightforward terms.
- Recommend options based on the information gathered during the conversation.
- Answer questions and work through concerns that come up before enrollment.
- Help qualified households complete their applications accurately.
- Reconnect with people who are interested but need additional time or information.
- Track conversations, applications, and follow-up activity throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Confident communicator who can make people comfortable quickly.
- Comfortable asking questions and guiding a conversation toward a decision.
- Organized enough to manage scheduled calls and ongoing follow-up.
- Self-motivated and productive while working remotely.
- Able to explain detailed information in a simple, easy-to-understand way.
- Consistent about following through with people after the initial conversation.
