Summary
The Compensation Analyst at Qcells USA Corp. plays a key role in designing and maintaining an equitable, competitive, and data-driven compensation framework that supports the organization’s strategic objectives and rapid growth. This role is responsible for conducting job evaluations, market analyses, and equity assessments to ensure compensation programs align with business needs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach to supporting Qcells’ Total Rewards strategy. This position reports to the Assistant Manager of Total Rewards, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is Hybrid located in Houston, TX office 4 days per week and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 10%.

Essential Job Function & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain job architecture, market benchmarks, and salary structures to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Conduct equity analyses and provide recommendations to address wage compression and pay gaps.
- Manages annual merit & bonus planning programs and processes.
- Perform job analyses to capture detailed role requirements and support market pricing activities.
- Evaluate job duties to determine FLSA classifications and recommend appropriate compensation levels.
- Develop, update, and maintain accurate job descriptions for all positions, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.
- Maintain job classifications, salary ranges, and related compensation documentation.
- Prepare and present reports summarizing job evaluation outcomes and compensation insights for leadership.
- Collect and analyze market compensation survey data using advanced spreadsheet and analytical techniques to identify trends and risks.
- Evaluate compensation tools, systems, and methodologies; recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and data integrity.
- Research total compensation practices, including benefits, within comparable industries and recommend updates to programs and policies as appropriate.
- Partner with the Total Rewards team to design competitive and cost-effective compensation and benefits programs.
- Advise leadership on relevant state and federal employment laws, compensation policies, and HR practices.
- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to translate compensation data into practical, actionable recommendations.
- Identify potential compliance risks and ensure compensation practices align with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in compensation analysis or a related role.
- Prior experience preferred in the construction industry, with demonstrated knowledge of prevailing wage laws and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities, both quantitative and qualitative.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compensation tools such as Salary.com (CompAnalyst) or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, or similar platforms) strongly preferred.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation strongly preferred.
