- Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews using applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS or Workday.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Support employee evaluation processes by gathering data, preparing documentation, and assisting with performance management initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR records through data entry, HRIS updates (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM), and benefits administration documentation.
- Contribute to employee relations by addressing inquiries, supporting conflict management efforts, and promoting positive communication across teams.
- Assist in compliance activities related to employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation claims, and affirmative action planning.
- Support HR projects such as change management initiatives, organization design efforts, succession planning, and training & development programs.
- Prior administrative experience in human resources or related fields is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday, Paychex, UltiPro, or ADP enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with experience in data collection, project management, and document preparation.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law principles, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new HR technologies like Kronos, Taleo, Paylocity or PeopleSoft is highly valued.
