Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team and support our organizational growth. Responsibilities
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), and coordinating interviews.
- Facilitate new employee orientation programs to ensure seamless onboarding experiences.
- Support employee evaluation processes through data collection, performance management documentation, and feedback coordination.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, workers' compensation, and other employee perks.
- Maintain accurate HR data entry within HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM; ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist with compliance-related tasks by monitoring OSHA standards, FMLA documentation, and affirmative action planning.
- Support HR projects related to change management, organization design, succession planning, and training & development initiatives.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and tact while escalating complex matters to senior HR staff as needed.
- Contribute to workforce management activities by supporting scheduling, timekeeping (Kronos or UltiPro), and payroll processing (Paychex, ADP).
- Manage social media channels for HR communications and promote company culture initiatives.
Experience
- Previous experience in human resources or administrative roles with exposure to human capital management practices.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM or UltiPro is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations including FMLA, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Demonstrated ability in project management and organizational design activities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations effectively.
- Experience with recruiting tools such as Taleo or iCIMS is advantageous.
