Senior Workday Optimization Consultant
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Workday Optimization Consultant to lead the assessment, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of our Workday environment. This role requires a strategic yet hands-on professional with deep expertise across the Workday ecosystem, capable of identifying improvement opportunities and implementing scalable, high-impact solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of functional, technical, and consulting expertise, with the ability to evaluate current-state operations, streamline processes, strengthen governance, and improve overall platform performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing Workday configurations, business processes, integrations, reporting frameworks, and security architecture
- Identify system inefficiencies, operational gaps, and optimization opportunities across functional and technical domains
- Design and implement scalable solutions that improve workflow efficiency, automation, data integrity, and user experience
- Review and enhance governance models, security roles, access controls, and compliance-related processes
- Evaluate current integrations and recommend improvements to support scalability, reliability, and operational effectiveness
- Develop and optimize reports, dashboards, and analytics capabilities to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Technology, Legal, and business stakeholders to align Workday capabilities with organizational objectives
- Provide both strategic advisory support and hands-on configuration, testing, and implementation expertise
- Lead or support change management activities, system testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Establish best practices, governance standards, and sustainable operating models to ensure long-term platform health and scalability
Required Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience within the Workday platform in complex enterprise environments

- Proven ability to assess current-state environments and deliver scalable optimization strategies
