We are seeking a Oil Dispatcher for nights to join our team and assist our customers with what they need. The ideal candidate is honest, makes an effort to get to know the drivers, detail-driven, shows confidence, makes plans for the upcoming workday and is consistent. The Oil Dispatcher should be eager to learn, and have extensive answering experience as well as some previous experience working with customer service environment. Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch drivers, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs. Determine appropriate routes and trucks to fulfill customer requirements and drivers’ daily schedules
- Monitor drivers' logs and making sure the truckers are in compliance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations, procedures, and laws.
- Dispatch continually monitors personnel locations and utilization in order to coordinate services and schedules
- Update well locations as needed
- Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and respond to requests for services or products
- May assist with administrative duties as needed or conduct special projects as requested by the Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ Years Experience dispatching oilfield Class A CDL Drivers
- 1+ Years Experience in Oil & Gas industry
- Needs to be able to work nights
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office; particularly Microsoft Excel
- Ability to problem solve & utilize given resources to independently perform daily tasks
- Strong ability to communicate, multi task, and work in high pressure situations
- Professionally & effectively communicate with customer base
- Valid driver’s license and the maintenance of a driving record that is above satisfactory
- Flexibility to work overtime, flex schedule, and be on call (this could include weekends, as needed)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
